Indeed, our beloved Prophet ﷺ said:
“When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.”
[📚 Sahih Muslim]
Allah (SWT) reminds us in the Qur’an:
“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] that sprouts seven ears; in every ear is a hundred grains.”
—Surah Al-Baqarah (2:261)
And He (SWT) says:
“Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds — the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection.”
—Surah Maryam (19:96)
The Story:
In August 2024, devastating floods hit the Kumrat Valley in Upper Dir, KPK, Pakistan, leaving the community without electricity. This has severely impacted their daily lives and ability to worship.
